Do you love to read? Want me to point you in the direction of your next favourite book? Here are 10 reasons why you should add The Silver Sheep to your TBR (To Be Read) list.

  1. Family Dysfunction

All families are dysfunctional in some ways, aren't they? And who doesn't want to read about families that are even more dysfunctional than your own? When you read about families that are even worse than your crazy, whack fam, then you can feel better about your own, can't you? Therefore, this book will make you feel better about your family!

  2. Imagine a world where your feet can't touch the ground. Literally.

In The Silver Sheep, it is dangerous for people's feet to come into contact with the earth. Have you heard of 'earthing' or 'grounding'? Well, this book takes that concept and turns it on its head... sort of.

  3. Inspired by The Earthing Movie and Dopesick

Weird combination, right? But this explains where Point 2 came from. So, how does Dopesick fit into the story? Well, in Dopesick, a large pharmaceutical corporation wants to keep people sick so that it can profit from the sickness. We've all heard the theory that sickness is good for business, right? Like, how many businesses would die if people were all healthier? The Silver Sheep combines the earthing concept with the impact of wellness/un-wellness. Curious? Good! You should read it.

  4. Contrasts lives of poverty with lives of wealth

Not just another rags-to-riches story, The Silver Sheep highlights the social, educational, security, and emotional differences between the rich and the poor.
